I’ve often being asked how to wrap a baby small, round, and beautiful. Well, newborn babies are all about average size (3-5kg) . The trick to make them look ‘small’ and ‘around’ is to adjust your layers and stuffing, and hide where the bulky part is.
In this video, I transit her from the first setup. It was an egg shell wrap (I will demonstrate that technique in later videos). She’s already in deep sleep. I took out the end tail of the wrap and cover her chest area with only one layer. This is in order to create a smooth base.
Then all the trick to wrap the external layers is to stretch tight, stuff some felt ( I used socks) where you think needs to perfect the shape.
Here’s the final shot.
