This video is about how to deal do under 3 year old sibling shot in post production.
1-2.5 year old sibling could be quite challenging. We attempt to get a shot in camera but sometimes it’s difficult since you also need to keep the newborn baby safe with a running around toddler.
I took a shot in f5 aperture with the baby on her own before getting the sibling to step in. Then I tried all I could to sit her down by her little sis side. I could snap some shots however they were very much satisfied. I will show those image on my blog below

The images I was hoping to get was either some interactive shots, or the toddler eyes on the camera with a smile shot. If non of these were achievable in camera, I use plan B – composition.
In newborn photos, composition is one of the most used methodology for many realistic reasons. In this video I showed how I compose these two shots together. I snapped these images with the composition in mind so they are in the same angle. You need to allow some room to the baby’s left (where the toddle sits) when you shoot the baby-on-her-own image.
